2015 SG KJ Walton

Unclear if we have offered the talented SG from Indy but I know we are heavily interested.

Walton is an silky SG who scores in a variety of ways. At 6'3'' he can get to the basket and also shoot from outside.

Minnesota, Xavier, Cincy also involved.

Creighton's been in to see him a number of times the last two months.

What I really like is the kid just turns and heads back down court, or walks over to the free throw line after the and one. No show boating, no beating his chest - at least not while the camera was on.

I believe Walton is a player who we are after that could help sooner than later.

Walton looks impressive in the posted videos. He looks to have have good size, athleticism, and strength. I would love for the Jays to have similar looking guards soon.

+1
If he doesn't have an offer, he should get one fast. He's strikingly similar to other guys we have been interested in, including Khyri Thomas.

Jays need a freshman who is ready to step in and make an impact from day one. Would show potential recruits there is hope to see the court as a freshman and not be destined to redshirt or warm the pine.
