He definitely fills a need on our roster much more than Connor. When would we know if he qualifies academically?

I think that both could fill nice needs on the roster. Frankamp gets here earlier and being a year ahead it's likely he would contribute earlier. The extra year at Prep helps Thomas as well.

The decision on these two players isn't set up to be an either-or decision. Frankamp likely has to decide by the end of the year to be enrolled in his new destination for his year wait. Thomas isn't going to sign until spring, if he qualifies. If he doesn't qualify then the decision is at least a year ahead (I don't remember all the rules about JUCO's and Prep Schools as the NCAA changed some things recently, but I think he can leave JUCO after a year)

After watching this Ole Miss game tonight, lets sign this kid up. Need some length and athleticism at the 2. We need someone who can defend at the wing and one who can get to the rim. This kid can do it.

Agreed. Both he and Marlon fit that bill. Can't have enough long guards, especially in the Big East.

He's certainly a target, but there could be a few late bloomers we haven't heard of yet heard of yet that Mac likes. We still have spring transfers as well.

Maybe I'm mistaken but hasn't Khyri Thomas had an offer on the table a long time now? And if so he hasn't accepted it yet. So now that it's been said that his recruiting is probably going to blow up I don't think I'll be holding my breath for him to suddenly decide to be a Jay after he's getting interest from a bunch of others. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him and I absolutely hope I'm totally wrong, but it's just not looking good to me.
