I'm excited to see what this kid brings to the team. Length and Athleticism at a level we simply haven't had at the 2 guard spot.. not to mention I think he has the the ability to eventually defend 1's, 2's and 3's.

Wow.
I know it's a highlight tape, but how was he not more highly rated in HS? His game looks a lot like Rasheed Sulaimon's did as a freshman at Duke.

Probably because most of the kids between 75-100 are ranked where they are due to mainly offer lists, and since he didn't have a lot of offers due to not qualifying, the scouting services probably didn't take too hard of a look at him. That's my assumption, at least

Wow. The guy can really get up. If he commits to playing hard on defense I don't see him riding the bench for long this year. Probably will just be a matter of adjusting to the speed of the game. If he can bring that level of athletic ability and strong perimeter D to the team he will get plenty of minutes
