Creighton interested in led guard from Illinois Wolves program. Staff went in and saw him play a few weeks ago. Was stellar this past weekend at Swish n Dish:

He really came on over the weekend at the point spot. He can handle the rock, push it in the open court, and sets up the dribble drive with a solid three point jumper. He is a good passer off the dribble and will make others around him better. He should see lots of mid to high major interest this spring and summer.

The versatile guard played his best basketball Sunday, scoring 17 points in different fashions. He showed a great looking perimeter jump shot, used his frame well to attack the lane against defenders and score from the mid-range or at the rim and displayed his bounce with two nice dunks in transition.

Another major piece of the IL Wolves puzzle, Nixon impressed yet again with his athleticism, grit and pension for scoring the basketball in multiple ways. Nixon got his hands on passes often defensively, went hard to the basket and finished strong on either side, and shot the ball well. No doubt, Nixon raised his stock further after this weekend.
