Gizmo, go back to the other board with LMS and have a conversation with yourself in your very own thread.

Alright, I don't care what anyone says. If the kid has an offer from Indiana, he's good enough for me. Also, Baylor and Gonzaga..

In defense of GTMO he does expect us to play for the national championship every year and the only way to do that is to get his boy Myles Turner on board

No shit!

I'm sure the coaches are ecstatic that we have the likes of gtmo, jaysker and others to try to undermine their recruiting efforts.

Indiana
Gonzaga
Baylor
Oklahoma State
Missouri
Xavier
Butler
Vanderbilt
Ole Miss
Creighton
Davidson

Frankly, there are only a few dozen players in the country with an offer list like his. Whoever gets him is getting one heck of a player. Anybody saying he isn't good enough because Marquette and Wisconsin didn't offer him doesn't know what they're talking about. Marquette is overloaded at the guard position, and Wisconsin has two point guards.

God, I hope it's us. In a way it's a shame that he can't see the C-Link with 18.5 in it.

That is the reason why we strive to make the NCAA Tournament, isn't it? If not, then why bother playing the game.

If you are merely satisfied with a conference championship or conference tourney title.
If playing a game or 2 in the Big Dance so you can say "we've had a good year", is your goal. If that is the case you are
selling our program short, with your collective low expectations. The ultimate goal is to compete hard, on the highest level,
to win a national championship.

If that is not our goal, then Creighton should send its' hoops program to the same rest home they sent football to back in 1942.

As for Turner, we are not on his short list.

Who's to say that Riley LaChance, JP Macura, et al can't get us there? Because they're ranked #119 and not #61 in an unbelievably speculative rating system?

Your bashing of kids based on a 40 second YouTube video is disturbing. And yes, the way you write posts it comes across as bashing.

Gtmo, If our coaches have offered a scholarship to a player, the player is good enough to be on our team. Riley is a GREAT talent and is exactly what we need on our team. If you want to second guess the recruiting judgement of our coaches, go do it where recruits can't read about it.

I really like Macura - 6 - 4 or 6 - 5, long, athletic, and can play some defense as well as being a great shooter, and can create his own shot..
I like the vast majority of the kids we are recruiting, because they "fit" the criteria the coaches say we need and are looking for:

Proclaimed 2014-15 recruiting criteria:

Taller guards and wings
long
athletic
can drive / slash or pull up with the short jumper
creative on offense (can create space for his shots)
good effort and intensity on defense

The majority of our recruiting targets fit the criteria.
