Norton and Talbert had 1 offer...tsk, tsk. The record speaks well for both kids.

Both are rising players on the regional and national scene.
Good HS programs. Both coachs' sons. Both are very tough and heady players.
Both have high BB IQ's. Both are very smart kids. Lastly, both saw a very good
thing (for themselves) in a Creighton offer. Talbert himself stated that he was
concerned that if he waited (til next fall, spring, summer) that the spot might
be filled already.
These kids want to be associated with a Top 25 program with a winning tradition.
They stated they wanted a school with great academics, with great fan support.
They both WANT to be Creightonians... We can't ask for more!

Coach is going to look like a recruiting GENIUS by summer of 2014, as both Talbert
and Norton will be TOP 150 recruits by then. These kids can play. Plus by beating the
rush on CU open billets, they have assured themselves of joining a top national
program. As Norton alluded, it doesn't get any better than that.

Nick and Ezra are 2 smart cookies, and have taken advantage of early offers. Bravo
to them - congratulations on showing exactly how smart you are. By committing
early, our coaching staff will have the opportunity to help in guiding their continued
development.

I like 'em both, wish we could find a dozen more like them! gtmo

PS: Both are from the KCMO area...it doesn't get any better than that (for gtmo)!

I think the key phrase for all the commits this week is that they want to be Jays. Ya have to love that.

Good points gtmo. We've definitely seen a trend in the coaches son (IQ) area.

When I watch Ezra and then know he has two full years to develope I just hope he can say no when KU comes knocking. During these clips any time he looked like he might get the ball someone kept screaming shooter. He will be great at CU. Man will we have some size in two years. Go Jays!
