i love that he played PG in HS.

he looks to have a pretty solid handle - and is breaking down guys off the dribble to take it inside.

we are really getting longer as a team too which can only help defensively down the road.

another great pickup.

welcome to the hilltop DH!

Wow- that video on him was amazing. That was one of the best I have seen on our recruits. He handles the ball well, great passes, and a quick, smooth release. I can't imagine what a year will do for him since he grew 4" over the last year. Let him fill out and mature and with his talent it looks like a great addition. I can't wait to hear what the coaches have to say about him.

My parents live in Springdale, AR and Dad will go to watch HS games every now and again. He said this kid is legit but needs to put on some weight. Welcome to the Bluejay Family, Darian!

I like this trend! Welcome to the Bluejays Darian. Enjoy your last year in HS and know that Jays fans look forward to watching your college career at the hilltop.

Again, good work coaches.

He looks really good. Great handle for a larger guard, can drain the jump shot & looks like he hustles. Welcome, Darian.

Wow would love to sneak out of the office for a couple hours to watch that

If anyone can watch and report back here that would be much appreciated.

Harris' team won the tournament. They just killed the other team. From what I saw, I think Harris had 6 or 9 points and a couple of assists and rebounds. Missed an easy bunny towards the end of the third quarter. Taken off very early in 4th quarter and didn't return. The commentators, one of them being Oscar Robinson, raved over him at times talking about his amazing shooting ability. One of the three's was from pretty far out. In the semifinal game before, Harris had hit a tough three in the corner at the end of the first quarter that was pretty impressive.

So he is not exaclty the slasher we have been talking about then?

Is he more of a Funk type of player?

When I had first seen a 6'6 guard the first thing that came to my mind was slasher but maybe I was thinking about it wrong.

Hopefully Nevin can really step up and be the player we need him to be, only benefit to the staff not doing everything in their power to get a slashing wing is that perhaps they see something in Nevin that those out of the loop (myself) haven't been able to see yet.
