Wow, that's great news. I was a bit worried he was going to look outside of the state.

I remember first watching his clips and wondering why he didn't have more early offers. He's really developed since then and has a strong versatile offensive game in addition to being pretty athletic and long. A great fit for us as he can work in the flow of the offense on the offensive end, and on defense is long and athletic enough to switch on a bunch of opposing players.

It’s been a while since the Jays have had a local kid recruit finish his high school career in Omaha - Reef and Taz finished their careers at prep schools so I think the last we could follow locally was JP in the mid-teens. Good times ahead following Jasen.

Reef was a 4 year starter at Omaha Burke and Khyri was a 4 year player at Omaha Benson. After their senior seasons both elected to go to prep school for a year so they could develop into a major D1 player.
