I’ll be honest I think that the transfer portal and player freedom has made me way more interested in recruiting than I ever was before. Maybe it’s just me but the movement and storylines are pretty dang entertaining

I'm not sure $800 K is enough to compensate a guy for two years of living in Manhattan, Kansas.

He’s leaving K State to play in Miami.

$400k per year and a car. To lure a college kid to Miami Beach. Wow. Surely a Runza deal in Omaha would feel on par, right?

Lol there’s gotta be a way for someone to set a player up with like a summer cabin in Okoboji with a boat and some wakeboards, right?

I’m on board with Lutz - not sure how interested I’m going to be in college hoops as this escalates.

I’d rather college sports go away, than schools and the NCAA continue to use the labor of student athletes for their own benefit, without allowing athletes to make money from their talents. You know, like everyone else in the world, not controlled by the NCAA.

We probably should as a society, examine the reasons sports are even associated with colleges in today’s world. Maybe reset the model to something that will work for everyone.
