Was just scrolling through list of portal entries. Seems like every double digit scorer from any mid-major school has entered the portal

Honestly, unless you feel the present school will tell you FU if you enter the portal what is the downside? That said, I’ve read stories of hundreds of kids on full rides (getting some NIL?) who go portaling and end up nowhere.

The devil in this are these newbie “agents” kids associate with who tell them they can do better, take a ridiculous cut of their cash and too fucking bad for those kids they convinced can make a bundle in the portal and who are now out in the cold with no scholie and no diploma.

Dedan Thomas from UNLV is in the portal. He is a PG and I think he averaged over 6 assists a game. He played really well in rhe game against us. I remember thinking he would look good in a CU uniform.

Do we have any interest and/or do we have a shot at this guy?

Dedan is a guy I'd definitely be interested in. Another player that just hit the portal that caught my eye is Kam Williams. True frosh, 6'8" wing/guard from Tulsa. 9/5/1/1s/1b as a true freshman. His shooting splits were 49/41/76 in his first year. Efficient player, seems to be a good athlete and at least an active defender at the very least (haven't watched enough to fully weigh in on him there).

What about Oscar Cluff? South Dakota State 7’ center entered the portal today. Looks like 1 year of eligibility. We have good like with Summit league transfers. Has a do not contact as of today.
