Oh well, at least we have a scholarship available for Scurry now.....and maybe Jett Canfield......and maybe that other dude that committed today.

This really sucks. We were in on the kid for 2 years. Kansas has been for what, 6 months? But I guess we can’t compete, it IS Kansas.

At some point, we have to be able to land this level or recruit, right? I know Mitch had that KU offer, but were they really in on him that hard towards the end like they were with Tristan?

I think the staff has done a nice job of increasing the talent level of the roster/kids we recruit, but at some point we have to be able to lock a player of this caliber down. I really think Tristan would have been a star here.

Now, I hope we don’t just throw this scholarship at someone just to do it. If there’s not an immediate contributor out there, I’d save it for 2020

Spoiler: We don't. Mac hasn't learned. Get ready for highlights of Mitch getting leaped over by actual 4s for offensive putbacks. It'll be great.

I notice you are a very recent, very negative poster. Any chance you are a reincarnation of one of our earlier poxes?

What a huge bummer. But, if anything, I'm sure they'll keep the communication lines open in case things don't work out (just like Marcus).

Ah yes, the ole "I don't agree with you so you're a troll."
Answer, no. Is it not obvious that I'm a bit more sophisticated than the Wichita and Husker fans that have been on the board recently? I may well be negative but just negativity does not a troll make.
And for your sake, I hope you have the good sense to hit the foe button if you would prefer not to read my thoughts in the future.

Mac will obviously be nice about this, but we all know what is coming. Kansas will recruit over Enaruna and slot him onto the bench or into a role player situation where he's a spot up shooter only. Maybe he'll look to transfer, but yet another player will decides that being a backup plan for a team like KU is better than a situation that is the best fit. Good luck to you. See you in the transfer portal in a couple of years

We should go the Bob Huggins route and steal one of their football players. We need an athletic banger

At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Because CU recruits him, most here feel that him going to a program like KU is above his pay scale. Sad we didn’t get him. Hope he does well.

Are you forgetting about Zegarowski, Bishop, Ballock, Alexandar, and Patton all committing early? All of these were 4* recruits.
CU even beat out Kansas for Ballock.
