and another shoe just dropped.
I had heard rumblings that Valpo guard Javon Freeman Liberty might be on the move. Talented combo guard, is a good on ball defender and capable scorer. Jays reached out last off season after his freshman year at Valpo when he entered the portal.
Expect the Jays to reach out again.

If we land Salnave and Bieniemy I think we would all be happy. Salnave gives us a solid guard off the bench for next year and Bieniemy would be a great addition to a team in two years that loses a bunch of talent. Him and O'Connell would be a great experienced duo to go along with our 2021 recruiting haul that is hopefully a great class.
Javon Freeman would obviously be a major get. 19 ppg last year

Allen Betrand just entered the transfer portal. He's a 6'5 guard who averaged 13.6 ppg and shot almost 40% from 3 last year at Towson. Already a ton of interest

He'd be an excellent get. Saw him twice in the MVC tournament and was really impressed. He's not a good 3 point shooter at this point, but attacks the basket well. Every high major team that has scholarships still will for sure be on him.

Freeman just tweeted that he is transferring to be closer to home so I am guessing he chooses a Chicago school

Valpo is only an hour from Chicago, so DePaul then?

19 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game. 74 steals. Freeman-liberty would’ve been such a good addition.
