I expect Froling and Bishop to develop considerably this summer. The biggest jump collegiate players make is between freshman and sophomore years.
Froling has a lot of tools already and just needs to polish things up a bit, like not putting the ball on the deck as much as he does and scoring immediately after getting the entry pass when he's got his man sealed. He'll never be able to guard quicker post players but he can probably be better against traditional face up or back to the basket big men.
Bishop might move to playing the 4 more if he can substantially improve his shooting, but he's shown that he's capable of matching up with at least some BE big guys. Besides shooting, he probably just needs more time for the game to slow down for him, plus a bit more S&C.
Besides that, how many teams have 5 big men on scholarship? I'd guess the answer is zero. We should have 4 guys that can play that spot and barring any turnover, we're better off signing a stretch 4 and another wing player.

Epperson/Froling are our 2 true post players, with Epperson having a injury history already. Martin is a four who plays the 5 because we like to play small ball. Bishop is a 3-4 whom most here say needs development. Another post player (grad transfer) should be welcomed with open arms. If Martin returns perhaps this is not a problem...if he goes we definitely need another big.

Like, do you watch us play? Just because Martin isn't 7' doesn't mean that he isn't a 5. He's damn good scoring inside and has improved his post defense quite a bit. In fact, unless he improves his jump shot significantly I don't want him to play the 4 in our offense.
I think all of us don't want Bishop to play the center spot permanently, or even for extended minutes, but he's definitely shown that he can at the very least play the 5 in a pinch vs. the right matchup.
If Froling does leave like Harry did Marquette, then by all means we should go get another post player. Otherwise we have 3 guys who are primarily 5s and another guy who can adequately fill in. Unless you get a 5 who can shoot the lights out of the ball, you don't want to play 2 of those 5s together in Mac's/Huss's offensive system and you get a roster crunch.
Maybe we should check and see if Ethan used all of his eligibility up.
I digress. And I'd much rather have Enaruna.
