I tend to agree -good info on the Kansas front. Mitch certainly can't hurt having been there himself and seeing how things are turning out for him. The kid would certainly get his minutes here ( KS who knows), enjoy the culture here, would get developed as a player, and we have shown you can get to the NBA from here.

2020 5 star guard RJ Hampton just reclassified into 2019. Kansas after him hard, along with Kentucky, Memphis and Texas Tech. He can play 1-3, but that's just another guy TE would have to compete with for minutes at KU.

Devon Dotson G (could stay in draft)
Quentin Grimes G (could stay in draft)
Ochai Agbaji (G/F)
Marcus Garrett (G/F)
Silvio De Sousa (?) (F)
Udoka Azubuike (C)
Mitch Lightfoot (F/C)
Christian Braun G/F

Going hard after: 5 star RJ Hampton G, 5 star Precious Achuiwa F, grad transfers Rayjon Tucker G/F and TJ Holyfield F.

Sounds like Grimes is good as gone. Dotson is likely returning, but he isn't competition for minutes for Enaruna since he plays the point. You left out McCormack, too, but I'd say he and Azubuike aren't really competition for minutes since they play the 5.

Kansas likes to play 4 guards at times, so any and every returner they have/incomer will effect minutes. For example if they bring back Dotson and land Hampton, they're both starting. Could push Garrett or Agbaji to a small ball 4. If they get De Sousa eligible and bring in Achiuwa or Holyfield, that's more front court minutes. I'm hoping for anyone and everyone to choose KU, guard, big or not. Would be hard for TE to see the floor if everyone comes back besides Grimes and they land Hampton and then an Achuiwa/Holyfield/Tucker

I'd say it's time to list Enaruna at his proper 6'10" as indicated in the WH. We ALWAYS short height everyone.

Be great is an understatement. I think we honestly need him. As we are currently constructed:
-Two players 6'8 or taller. Everyone else 6'5 or under, with Martin up in the air on returning. (Denzel Mahoney too? any word on him? Enaruna isn't a post but he adds length and versatility, something we sorely are missing.
- So far I don't think our roster has added any impact players for this upcoming season. Enaruna would be one. Windham and Mitchell are nice additions but expecting the pair of 3 star guards to have an immediate impact as freshman is probably unfair.

Also, missing out on the #1 target in this class that we've been on for almost 2 years would be so heartbreaking, especially now that there isn't much left on the market. If we miss out on Enaruna I don't know who else we can add and that worries me.

KC Star made light of TE’s height being listed anywhere from 6’6” to 6’10”.

Good point. You're correct.

Right on all counts here. Missing Enaruna would be a redux of missing on Bowen. We have no backup plan. None. And that would be a massive failure on the part of the coaching staff. You need to learn from mistakes and it doesn't look like they have. They're throwing everything on red and hoping the wheel cooperates.

REALITY, CU signed 3 I’m extremely happy with. Signings come in many forms. Long recruitment, last minute transfer, reopening of recruitment. Same with every school. KU was on Hurt for 2 years and until a couple of months ago, it was 100% unanimous he was theirs. New schools jump in, etc. Boom he is gone. CU coaches don’t quit recruiting.

Absolutely happy with the 3 signings. But one can't play this year, and expecting the other two to have an immediate impact would be unfair to them, although they absolutely could. I just worry that if we miss out on TE, and Martin leaves, the excitement for me coming into this year will be extremely tampered down. It is all what ifs at this point, but at the end of the year it was 'Wow, we have possibly everyone coming back with the potential to add some immediate impact players to make this coming year really special' to now potentially 'damn, we lost our best player and haven't really added anyone that can put us over that hump'
