My thoughts exactly. He might not wait it out. I'm sure the Jay coach recruiting Mychal has already let him know that CU "has it going on and don't let the train leave without you".

I see your point, but it's Kentucky. They've had things going on for quite some time. I can't really blame Mulder for taking his time.

I know if those freshman sign with Kentucky. There will be no room at Kentucky. Most Kentucky fans are saying juco like it's taboo. I understand.... its Kentucky. Cal will throw him on the bench though to waste. He will star here

Hopefully he see's KY for what it is. Not just watching to see who they sign this year, but next year as well. If Cal signs too many "one and done's" there may not be any playing time at KY. If it comes down to us and Indiana, he can win in Blomington next year if he becomes a Jay.

Am I missing something? Aren't we out of scholarships now?

There are other ways to create openings like asking current scholarship players to walk-on when it does not create a hardship for them.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when that conversation goes down.

"Mr. Zierden, can you please pay for your son's way, so we can sign this JUCO guard who will take Isaiah's playing time? Just make the check out to Creighton University. Um, you forget to add a zero to how much it costs to go here."

lol. That would be a great convo to sit in on. I think being a pro coach knowing his son's abilities are becoming hampered by nagging dislocation of his knees every 11 months....I could see it lol. I hope z is healthy this year

With Creighton's endowment, I am sure there are a few dollars for an academic scholarship. I am sure there are some NCAA rules that need to be followed. For instance, I assume the university cannot offer a Presidential Scholarship to just anybody, whether or not they are a good basketball player. I would think they would have to have the grades to qualify.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about the current situation with the athletic schollys, etc. My comments are to aid in the discussion about hypothetical situations.
