He arrived late after taking the SAT but was always in control at the point guard spot once he took the floor. He's an unshakeable ballhandler who exploits pressure and always finds the right man. This weekend marked his second attempt at the SAT, as he is trying to secure a score that would allow him to attend a prestigious academic institution – like, say, Stanford. The Cardinal may be in good position if he can make that happen. Benson says Oregon, Creighton, Saint Mary's, Boise State, New Mexico and Nebraska are also involved.

Interesting quip about the SAT.It is standard for a high schooler to take a college entrance exam more than once, however I do wonder if that line about the prestigious academic institution is from Benson's mouth, or the writer's presumptions. If it's the latter I'm not worried..hell, I think I took the ACT four times

FYI also visiting NU this week as well.

Regardless of Nebraska's current status, they are a member of the Big 10 which is one of the strongest conferences. Creighton now has the ability to point to a strong conference as well now that we've joined the Big East. To some extent we will both be reaching for similar players and whether they choose NU or us will speak to how we are being perceived nationally and the job that Mac is doing with the program.

Let's hope they end up with our leftovers.

Sounds like the coaching staff has done its job.

So he's signing an LOI in November? That means he'll commit anytime between now and then.
