or a bunch of AAU folks steering you there.
anyone care to wager that he doesn't complete his eligibility at BU?
nice signing for the braves or whatever they're called now, though
It was probably momma Cunningham steering him there.
Yup, momma is a Bradley alum and a personal friend of the head coach. On top of that, at least one of his best friends is a freshman on the basketball team. His former AAU coach is an assistant at bradley too.

momma didn't hurt the situation
but don't discount AAU shenanigans

Good luck to him. Peoria is a basketball town, and Bradley a basketball school. But they will be, at best, a third place team in the Valley under the best of circumstances. The diminished Valley.

If he pans out as a true Top 100 recruit, in 2 years he'll be transferring to take his talents to a higher level of competition.

With a transfer year to sit out

Good for him and good for Bradley, but I don't get why he had to delay his announcement for so long when pretty much everyone was assuming that he was going to Bradley last October

I wouldn't necessarily assume he will leave if he turns out to be really good. Doug didn't leave after being an All-American his sophomore year to try to prove himself on a bigger stage. True, his dad isn't the coach, but his parents are alum of Bradley so there is a strong tie. If anytning, I would see him jumping to the NBA early over transferring to another school if he turns out to be really good. If Bradley remains mired at the bottom of the MVC after two years, he might look for a better school.

Sounds like Geno Ford will get fired at Bradley after this season. Geno and Josh's mom are tight. Josh's AAU coach is one of the current Bradley assistants.
As a true frosh, Josh is averaging about 8 pts/8 rebs per game for a fairly anemic offense. Was a top 150 recruit per rivals that we pursued until basically May.
Don't be surprised if he becomes available.

i saw where bradley's leading scorer got busted (underage) at Big Al's and is suspended
Bradley is a hot mess.
Not sure there's room for cunningham now that hegner has emerged and kramplej is coming (plus huff).
sorry Josh - you chose poorly

Have no idea if we would be interested, but Josh is a wing, not a PF.
