FWIW, that's what his model projected the additions Creighton made should cost based on whatever factors he incorporated, not reporting on what the players are actually making.

With all the new players (and the possibility of more) it might become important to know that the last day to end the portal is April 22. I do not think it is unrealistic that some current Creighton players are at least contemplating entering the portal if the playing time looks to be drying up. No inside info - just putting myself in some of the players' situations.
