Breaking news to me. Haven't seen anything anywhere else on this. Any more info you can share?

I think "He left the team yesterday" was in regard to Kobe King at Wisconsin. Not alluding to Mintz. I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.

The wording of that response was just lovely.

That's correct. I was referencing Kobe King. NOT Mintz

That's a reasonable expectation. I haven't heard anything about Windham. Since we don't see him much it's hard to say how well he's performing behind the scenes. IMO, unless he has a massive breakout this summer and there's roster flux in the guards corps (besides Mintz), I have a hard time seeing him lined up for significant minutes next year. So there's a question of how patient/willing to work he is. Obviously since I don't know him I can't make any prognostications there.

Don't forget about Jacob, too. There's both questions of if he can recover to play again and, if he does that, if he actually wants to return and put himself in further jeopardy. He could definitely chose to retire and finish up his degree (if he doesn't this spring).

Purely rumors but would be surprised if JW is still a Jay next season after hearing them.

Wow. Loving how you all are revamping the lineups. There are enough minutes to go around. Especially since there is no
requirement engraved in stone for "starters" to play 30-40 mpg. We are overworking the "big 3" this season in playing them
extended minutes. Having said that several conf players (16) are avg'g 30 or more mpg this season.

05 ALEXANDER, Ty-Shon. 22-22 767 34.9
11 ZEGAROWSKI, Marcus. 22-21 771 35.0
24 BALLOCK, Mitch..... 22-22 797 36.2

And we have yet to see how the guys will hold up down the final stretch run this season.

With greater depth next season there will not be a need to have them play this much. 25-30 mpg would be good.

Howard, Baldwin, & Powell 30 mpg
Naji Marshall 34.7 mpg
Charlie Moore 35.7 mpg
Paul Reed/S. Bey 33 mpg
Scruggs 34 mpg
Gillespie 33
Anim 32
Diallo/Duke 31.7
S McDermott/JRE 32 mpg
Coleman-Lands 31 mpg
McEwen 30 mpg

Interesting visit. Some info on him from a couple of years ago: 6-7.25 with 6-9 wingspan, think he's listed at 6-8 now. Saw some clips out there from a couple of years ago and you can see the potential and guess at where he is now with additional height and maturity. Looks like he could be a legit Stretch 4 for our system.

credit to a SLU site for this info:

Modestas Kancleris - PF, 6-8, 200 - Kaunas, Lithuania - AAU: JSI Elite (Adidas Gauntlet) - Twitter: @MKancleris
Offers: None.

Interest: Saint Louis, Creighton, Indiana, Auburn, Cincinnati, Temple, BYU, Gonzaga, Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, Hawaii, Grand Canyon.

Latest News: Kancleris has been to the US a few times in the past few years but his recruitment has been quiet lately. He is playing for the Žalgiris basketball club in Kaunas, Lithuania. (10/10/19)

Scouting Report: Kancleris is an extremely versatile forward who scores in a variety of ways - mid-range jumpers, posting up, transition, offensive put-backs, and from the perimeter. He's a skilled passer and plays a smart game. He's a fluid athlete and can play any position. He played the 2018 AAU season with JSI Elite (Adidas Gauntlet) out of Alabama and showed out in the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. He returned to the US for the NBPA Top 100 Camp this year.

-Kancleris' last tweet is actually a retweet of him and Tautvydas Sabonis, who retired this year and is now an assistant coach of the club Kancleris plays for. Tautvydas is the middle of Arvydas Sabonis' three sons; Domantas, the youngest, plays for the Pacers.

Donovan Williams of Lincoln now shows up in Creighton’s 24/7 list of prospects for 2020. Not thinking there is great interest by CU but not out of the realm of possible that Jays want to be seen as respecting all D1 level local talent.
