So how is Memphis State, with his dad an assistant coach there, NOT going to get this kid?

Not every kid wants to play for their father, and playing for a father who isn't even the head coach is probably even more difficult.

The kid is about a perfect fit for our offense

Remember watching this kids film and thinking he'd be the perfect player in the perfect system.

Team is going to be so fun to watch, and last year was just the beginning

the Bluejay Nation is in the hundreds of thousands!

Interesting factoid about Mike Miller, from the school that launched Gatorade:

Let It Fly Energy
In 2012, Miller founded the Let It Fly Energy line of energy drinks and energy shots. In a 2012 Forbes article, he said he started the company because he wanted a healthy alternative energy drink for athletes.[36]
(WIKIPEDIA)
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Ja Morant also tweeting congrats on this.

Mike Miller's son.
LeBron's nephew.
Ja Morant's little brother.

I don't care that Kyler Korver's mom once scored 73 points in a HS basketball game. Mason now has the best pedigree in program history.

Dude, 73 freaking points, mom Korver is still top of the mountain!

Rivals commit of the week:

Creighton coach Greg McDermott won another big recruiting battle this week by beating out Indiana to land four-star forward Mason Miller, the son of long-time NBA player Mike Miller. File this one away as a perfect fit. Miller is a really skilled 6-foot-9 forward with a little bit of bounce to him. He can hit shots from deep or put the ball on the floor. He’ll need to add strength, but he has a lot of upside and will be playing in a perfect offensive system to take advantage of his offensive ability.

Nice game for Miller yesterday:

For Houston tonight, Mason Miller had 26 points and really looked impressive in all phases of the game. Played aggressively too and with a lot of confidence like I said earlier. Creighton fans should be very excited. 6-10 Jerrell Colbert added 15 points.
