Really? Was he quoted as saying that? We were top five in the nation in scoring last year.
He said it. Listen to the radio interview that Hilltop linked on the previous page.
Wow.

The guy interviewed was not the AAU coach, it was a reporter I believe. But it is clear to me who is guiding this fiasco.

The reporter needs to be lit up for that comment. As someone who supposedly covers Iowa guess he forgot about the Hawks getting run out of the gym, and CU dropping 80+ in Des Moines.

Well this is now a complete non story. Some boob reporter doesn't know Creighton scores a ton of points. That's a lot different than a guy who is advising him.

the worry is, that the reporter is being fed these opinions and comments by the AAU coach...

I would think showing Jarrod a box score or two and mention Doug's offensive numbers would quickly put to rest the idea Creighton plays like Wisky. He's a smart kid, right? He should be able to put two and two together.

I hope so. I dont see how anyone could claim such things looking at the make-up of our roster, but we will see.

if jarrod is like 99% of college hoops players - he watches a sh(t ton of basketball on espn, etc.
he's well aware of what doug did - and that we both ran and were high scoring - and jacked and made threes at a high rate.
i'd think a guy like him would drool at playing in such an offense - apparently he just wishes that offense were located in iowa city or ames...

I would hope Gibbs is his 'host' on the recruitment. He lends a really good perspective for transfers (from the state of Iowa too). Uthoff hasn't been through the rehab Grant has had, but Gibbs has lost a year of eligibity (probably/possably) to go to a mid-major conference. Did anyone on the team play with Jarrod on his AAU team? Maybe Will.
