I think there is too much smoke around this guy. I don't think he is a good match for CU at this time.

T-bone, "at this time" really? Seriously? The next time he transfers he won't have any eligibility left. Too much smoke huh? Like what. Coveted recruit? Can't have that! Went to one of the better Big 10 teams? No way! High GPA raising NCAA APR? Get him out of here! Tells his coach (who loses APR points for transfers) he wants to transfer? Coach over-reacts? Your right if this 19 year old can't control his 50-something coach he's a waste of a scholarship. Is something inappropriate going on? Maybe. But right now the EVIDENCE points to inappropriate behavior by the adults involved - not the teenager.

no kidding - at least wait until he visits.

if mac still wants him after that - knowing all the hoopla - that's good enough for me.

I want this kid, he has handled it in a very classy fashion, at least compared to the institution that is supposedly the one teaching him.

Bo Ryan is a freaking idiot, gets the Big 10 rules changed so he gets a transfer then tries to control this kid who has never played a minute for little-no reason.

Interesting, so if I'm reading that right, since Uthoff already used his redshirt it would make no difference in his eligibility. He would come out of the mandatory off-year with 3 years left regardless.

If it's agronomy or crop management, I have a feeling we're screwed. On the other hand, if it's Jesuit Studies, I'm saying we've got a chance.

But I've about had it with this kid. So, I'm laying down a marker. I'm drawing a line in the sand. I'm giving him an ultimatum. Hey, Uthoff, you've got until 11 PM, Central Daylight Time, on Friday, April 20, 2012, to declare yourself a Bluejay. If it doesn't happen by then, that's it, pal. As of 11:01 tomorrow night, if you're not decked out in Creighton blue, then I will no longer consider making your picture my avatar. Sorry to get tough about this, but sometimes a guy has to take a stand.

So, remember, 11 o'clock tomorrow night. After that, it's over. Don't test me. I'm not joking around. No second chances after tomorrow night, Uthoff. (Unless you really need more time. I guess that'd be okay).

Oh, hell, who am I kidding. I was never going to make some 19-year old kid's pic my avatar. That'd be kind of creepy.

Jamie Johnson thinks Wisky Ball is the same style played by CU. He's just trying to find the best fit for Jarrod. Have you seen a story on this since the transfer was annouced that every thing from Jarrod went through him, everything. Let's go back to the firstnight. One story quoted as saying "the release was all Jarrod's idea. That same night another story that Jarrod had just called him and quoted him" This news was totally surprising to say the least". If there wasn't tampering here I will be shocked. I'll bet if phone records were looked over I'll bet Mr. Johnson would back track from his statements. Go Jays!!!

Really? Was he quoted as saying that? We were top five in the nation in scoring last year.

I think the real question here is will this thread get to as many pages as the Johnny Coy thread?

He said it. Listen to the radio interview that Hilltop linked on the previous page.
