I have Blake as my starting 3 man along with 3 other newcomers. Jackson is the only returner to start. The team is loaded at every position except point guard. A dream would be for Mac to continue coaching the Jays for another 40-50 years.

Agreed, I too dream about Greg McDermott coaching until he's 111 years old.

Huge get to round off the class. 45, 40, and 82.5% shooting splits are crazy for a true freshman.

I read that Blake had conditioning issues leading up to the season. That makes me think there's a chance he could get faster/stronger with another offseason or two. That, and his potential as a ++ sized playmaker/defender makes his upside really exciting. It would be huge to get 2 years of Blake.

If you watch his junior year hudl videos... he was like a chubby, short kid to start the year and then the highlights at the end of the year you can see him getting taller and slimming down. Crazy going from a chubby 6'0" tall kid who is a role player on his high school team to being a 6'8" millionaire on a top 3 team in the big east in the span of 2-3 years.

it's definitely not common, but some guys are just crazy late bloomers. JP and Anthony Davis come to mind.

Log jam at the 3 is fine since you can move guys to the 2 or 4. There should be lots of position less basketball for the jays next season.

Agree with BleedBlue here. With the way our offense has run for a while, we have a PG, a center and 3 wings. The key is finding defensive matchups that work.
