Nice article regarding 2024 signee Allison Heathcock, leading her team in scoring and rebounding: "At 6-foot-1, Heathcock is a versatile player. While she will battle in the post for rebounds, she can also help break the press by bringing the ball upcourt. Her all-around game has made her one of the top players in the state."

The 2025 Gessert twins at Millard West committed to Creighton on Wednesday night. Big win for Flan and his staff, who did a great job recruiting them. Beat out Nebraska, Iowa State and others.

I really hope this staff can land Ashlyn. I feel that's the biggest hole on Flan's roster is size. His 5 out system works great in conference (outside of UConn) but seems every year in the NCAAs we go against teams that have 3-4 ladies on the roster that are 6'3"+ and our tallest is 6'0" on a good day. Getting 2 or 3 that are 6'2"+ would come in so handy just for rebounding purposes.

IMO, unless you have a Clark who can outscore most teams, you must have someone 6’5” or bigger to anchor your middle if you want to compete with UConn,SCs and LSUs of the sport.

With Ronsiek gone we need a center for next year for sure.

Gentry is 6'3" and will be here for next season. I'd like to see a few more her size or taller on the roster. They could fill the Mallory Brake roll on offense as being a screener and rebounder, and can guard the post. A stretch 5 would be nicer, but just having some size is a must, IMO.
