Norah named one of the two best outside hitters along with her teammate Chloe Chicoine (who was also named MVP).

Looks like the entire volleyball team is in Italy. Pretty expensive summer trip. Who fits the bill for that? Do our other non-revenue sports do this?

On the last trip, a couple of volleyball boosters helped cover some costs. Awesome opportunity for what could be a special team this fall!

Maybe this will open the door to finally getting the cross-country team some much-needed altitude training in Switzerland.
Four to six weeks should do it.

Not directly or necessarily relevant to the particular inquiry here -- but is volleyball at Creighton a non-revenue sport? Given its popularity, attendance, and success, I thought it might be a revenue sport for us.

I don't think there are many volleyball schools that make money. I believe Nebraska is the only one.

Yes, Nebraska is the only one generating revenue currently, a few BigTen schools are close, but still in the red. I think VB overall is close to being a revenue drawing sport, over the last few years, when on the major networks, it's drawn better than anticipated viewer numbers. I think we will start seeing more high profile VB games on in the fall going forward. Biggest issue is it's competing against football, which between the NFL and college, football seems to have games every night to get on TV. If VB moved to a spring sport, I think it would grow on TV and generate ad revenue for the networks, which would then pay the conferences more for broadcasting rights, which IMO would draw more fans to the games as well. Moving to the spring would be a win-win for the schools and networks.
