This is awesome. Plenty of ups and (many) downs the past handful of years but good to see Ed get back to the NCAA tourney once more in his final season. And hopefully this builds momentum moving forward.

Congratulations to Ed Servais and Mark Kingston and staff for working together for the common good and making something special! It's great to win the BE and to finally get the better of UConn, winning tonight and 3/4 for the season. Beat Xavier in their home metro area too, and St. John's to win the title by beating the clear other three top teams in the conference. This was a team that hadn't been tested much, and they passed the Prasco test with flying colors. All season they would bend but not break, and tonight was a microcosm of that.

The pitchers and defense give up way too many free bases to be competitive in a regional, but what they've accomplished already is enough for me.
